Samuel lived in a Windsor Connecticut farmhouse on 609 Wolcott Ave, with his wife Elsie and raised 14 children.
Samuel had two brothers, Peter and Victor, and a sister named Anna Rickis Chesnas. Peter went to Canada while Samuel came to America. It is unclear what happened to Victor.
