Family Reunion Updates - Feb 2011

Greetings,

         Well, things are moving ahead nicely. So far we have the date, June 25th, the place, The Polish American Club in Newington, CT., the food service, Michaels Catering, and I just booked the DJ, CnT Entertainment. My niece Kati’s husband Tom has volunteered to take photos of the event (digital) so we can download them and create a CD for those who want one. Thanks Kati and Tom for volunteering to do this. All that we need now is YOU!!

Greetings and Happy New Year!

            I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and a very happy New Year. Ellen and I were quite busy over this holiday season. We spent the Thanksgiving holiday with her father and family in Bellingham, Washington. Our oldest son Ken was able to come up from California and join us this year, as well as our younger son Chris with his wife Christine and our three grandchildren.   Well things are coming together. Mark your calendars!!!! We now have a date, time and place.
 
  The Reunion is set for June 25th, 2011 (the last Saturday in June).
 
  The place is the Polish American Club in Newington, CT. The banquet room at The Polish National Home
was not large enough, based on an estimate of 100 people attending the reunion. They could only handle

To blog or not to blog???

I figured this may be a better way to share misc information about the family, instead of trying to capture it all on the home page. We'll see how it goes.  This web site has been an adventure for sure, and it's given me the unique opportunity to connect with many relatives I've never even spoken to, some of who I never knew existed!  It's been fun - like a big ongoing mystery, but I suppose most families are right?  I appreciate everyone's input throughout the past months - keep it coming!...
